Trainer since 1996 with interests in sports medicine, minor surgery and practice management.

Dr Rosie Hart MRCGP

Interests in women's medicine and child development.

Interest in sexual health.

Our patients are mainly middle class with a lot commuting to London. We have an average number of young and elderly. Our practice philosophy is to maintain a high standard of medical care throughout life. We try to keep up with the latest developments and are involved in the local PCT but we do not always toe the party line! We ensure that the practice is friendly and we like to think of us as one big family. The main change recently has been the move to a paperless practice. We are one of a handful of sites nationally using LV3 version of EMIS software.

We have recently extended the surgery to provide an extra consulting room downstairs and an open, lighter waiting area. We have been approved to have one part-time and one full-time registrar concurrently. We have a full-time vacancy from August 1 2005, but please contact us with regard to part-time vacancies.

Training is a high priority and we ensure the registrars enjoy their time with us. The 6 or 12 month period is tailored to the individual needs of the registrar and there is protected time for tutorials. One trainer is mainly responsible for the registrar, with all other doctors and other team members being involved. We have a 100% pass rate for summative assessment.
